About DFP
DFP is a prototype 2D platformer developed by Daniel Olleman starting in Oct 2021. Its goal was to make a fully featured 2D platformer for mobile devices. Where this project differentiates itself from similar games is in its innovative implementation of controls enabling for a tighter more precise gameplay. This also allowed the game to integrate features like crouching which are often cut from mobile platformers. While the goal was to publish the game, the amount of time required to finish the product led to it being shelved towards the end of June 2022 in favor of a game (ultimately Rain of Blocks) that could be more quickly completed.
